Studio 2050, a Santa Barbara Based production company is currently looking for live action screenplays to review. Our goal is to begin production this year, 2012.

We are interested in genres including Drama, Romantic Comedy, Family and Romance. Story could include some fantasy elements provided they are not period or special effects driven. We are interested in scripts that are light, feel-good or positive in nature. 

We are not interested in scripts that are dark in nature, period pieces or heavily special effects driven.

Our goal is to shoot in Santa Barbara and the surrounding Santa Barbara area. This would include beach, Mountains and foothills, ranches , rural, wineries and any of the Santa Barbara land marks ( Mission, Downtown area, high end real estate etc )
