The Granada Theatre Video Workshop Now Enrolling for Winter/Spring 2012!
Learn Camera & Editing Skills, Film, Interview and Production Techniques
Instructor: Filmmaker Jennie Reinish of Tidepool Pictures and Riviera Productions Classes held at the SB County Education Office - 4400 Cathedral Oaks Road Mondays and Thursdays, 3:45-5:30 Classes begin February 27, 2012 and go through May 10, 2012 (No class March 26/29) Class is limited to 18 students ages 14 and up Cost is $100 for 10 weeks (20 classes = $5 per class)
About the Class:
• Become a Filmmaker! • Learn how to produce a video – learn from a professional! • Shoot, edit and create films of your own • Produce commercials & informative videos for local organizations • Meet and learn from successful Hollywood industry professionals • Explore a career in film • Learn to create Music for your videos • Take Field trips to film on location! • Learn skills you can use for school and in a career • Earn Community Service Hours
Planned Field Trips to film include The Granada Theatre (behind the scenes and in the theatre) Performing Arts Groups, Local Non-Profit Organizations & more! This is your chance to learn and create video that will be seen in the community!
To be eligible for this program you must:
• Turn your application in no later then February 23, 2011 • Have an interest in filmmaking, writing, directing, editing & more • Want to explore the world of Film and TV production • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work with others • Want to learn editing & music creation programs/computer skills • Commit to 10 weeks (20 classes) of filming and editing • Be open to new ideas and experiences
